Oh darn. My golly, I am so desperate. I need the sixth book of Harry Potter! I just don't want it, I NEED it! I read a part of the first up to the third chapter in Joy's book. Lol. I thought that it would help me.

WRONG!

It didn't help me a bit. It made me crave for the book more. Haha. Third-degree addicts act this way, so yeah.. Bear with me. :D

We are going to practice in the studio again tomorrow. I am not excited. What if I messed with my chords? I also need to focus on my school work. I'm neglecting it already. *sigh*

Oh well.. everything that happens is God's will. He won't let anything happen if it does not have a reason. OMFG, I almost forgot. We had the Food Festival and the Induction of officers today. Hmm.. everything went smoothly. Thanks for the prayers I asked in the previous post, our booth won third place! Haha, not bad, right? ^^

Food Festival

I came home late. Again. Yes, I know. I can be hard-headed at times. But this time, I have a reasonable excuse. It is a real one! Lolz. We made the booth for the Food Fest tomorrow. Haha, hapit. Well, you know us students. Cramming is always a part of our routine. Right, guys? Haha! But anyway, I went home with Angeline to get the hammer and some nails that we were going to need. I stayed at our classroom and chatted with the people there while Angeline brought the nails upstairs for my classmates to work with. We talked about Harry Potter. Dang, I want one copy. Haha!

When I went upstairs to check on them, I saw that girls are the only ones working. Why, a boy must do the hammering work! Lol. You get the thought, right? Some fourth year students helped. Soon, the boys rushed up and helped too. Haha, teamwork. Some of my classmates thought of an acronym for CARBOHYDRATES. Kasi naman eh, ang hirap nung sa amin! Dapat pang-fourth year yun! Haha, nagreklamo. Lol

I hope that everything will go well tomorrow. Wish us luck! Pray for us too! We want to win the booth-decorating contest. Hehe. Toodles.

Ayt. As promised, I am here again to give a movie review on Herbie Fully Loaded. Personally, I liked the movie. You'll get to know values and stuff. The movie is all about racing and the famous Volkswagen Herbie. If you ask me, I'll give it a 9 out of 10. Lindsay did well. And uhh.. I don't really have anything to say to you folks. Just go and watch it. It will be a valuable for, ehem, backstabbers out there. Lol. Kidding.

I'm here in Megamall with Jane and Joyce and Tita Evelyn. Instead of waiting and dying of boredom, we decided to rent PCs here and go online. So yeah.. BTW, there's school tomorrow. I hope it gets suspended. I hate school. Grr. It ticks me off. I really hope it gets suspended. Where are the typhoons when you need 'em?

OMG. I must be crazy or something. This is my second post for the day, can you believe? I would like to tell something about our rehearsal in a studio. It is the first time I entered a studio. Oh dang, it is mighty HAWT, I tell ya! You feel like professional rock stars because of the noise. Hehe. I cam in late in the studio because of a nuisance. The drums were cool. I love the sound it produced. I'm no music lover, but I think it is expensive or something. The sounds the equipments produced were oh-so-cool. I commuted on the way there. And yeah, it was my first time to commute alone. Yep, alone. All by myself. I feel independent! Haha!

And yeah, I am watching Legally Blonde on DVD again. Third time this week.

I love how Elle stands out in a crowd. She's filthy rich and loves designer clothes, which makes her cool. Lol. I recommend this movie. Go watch it, alright?

We'll be watching Herbie tomorrow. Lindsay Lohan is there and I'll give you a review on it tomorrow.

Yay! Thank God it's Saturday. It's been so long since I have posted. Too busy. But anyway, I am mighty glad that today is Saturday and for the first time in history, we do not have any assignments! That's right, drool! Haha, kidding. So yeah, anyway, I'm glad that I finished my Turbo Pascal activity yesterday. Hehe, that was hard! I worried when Mr.Baloca said that it is already time. I almost finished the star but the last line's endpoint was wrong! Lol. Elizabeth was already finished and I asked her what the coordinates of the stupid line's endpoint are. She helped me and BAM! I finished in time and correctly too, I may add. Lol. Yep. Tarra, Elizabeth and I always "help" each other during computer class because we sit by each other. So, we will just look at each other's screens and copy. Lol. But now, Mr. Baloca assigned us different figures so that we won't be able to copy the work of a seat mate. Very wise, Mr. Baloca. Very wise.

So anyway, we have wirelees internet already. Only on the laptop, though. Understand my typo errors alright? I'm not used to typing in the laptop.

I have a name. Everyone has a name. Our names were chosen with care by our parents. They might have thought about it for months. Our name identifies us with other people.

What happens if you change that?

So, If I were you, I'd stop calling other people names aside from their own.

Nah-uh. I don't think so. They might not say that they are hurt, but deep inside, they are. Stop being a meanie and start calling someone by his/her given name. If you were in their shoes, what will you feel if someone called you "Mr./Ms. ?" Even though it was meant as a joke, you will still get hurt, right? Remember the golden rule, people.

What a shame. Are you stupid or what? I know that you already know the difference between right or wrong. But you still practice the wrong things. What is that called?

Aye, as the title suggests, I missed all of you. Yep. No exceptions! As I have noticed (Probably you've noticed this too), I post nonsense things. I mean, really. I'm neglecting my duty as a blogger, am I not? So yeah, I hope that this post will be a meaningful one. I'll talk about our campaigning.

Part one: Campaign

I dreaded this day. But I shouldn't have. A lot of my friends helped me with the campaigning materials so it isn't that bad. I just printed some stuff and bought some pins. They pasted what I have printed in a folder which I have also provided. Haha! I wouldn't want them to waste precious money for me. After informal campaigning, we made the room-to-room campaining routine. I was nervous! All my partymates were. We even sang the kiliti theme. Eew. Haha. .<"> That is humiliating. Lol. The first years were so rude. Not all of them, though. Why can't they be like us when we were freshmen? Hey, that's a joke!

Part two: Classes

Our classes are tougher than ever. I hate proving in geometry. I just don't get it. Our THE class is better. I love our activities! I hope that our next one would be baking cookies! We also had our group project in English. It wasn't that bad. We got an 87. We were the second to the highest. We also had a writing activity. Gosh, that was torture! I wasted a lot of sheets of paper to perfect my work. But no, a lot still failed. And I've made a vow concerning my studies. I'll study extra hard this year. I'm up for some competition, though.

Part three: Votation

We voted already. I didn't vote for myself. I don't know, I do not like the idea of tons of responsibilities. I'm not a born leader. Hehe..

Yeah. I'm so freaking braced. Haha. My braces have a new companion inside my mouth. Lol. That frigging elastic is blocking my tongue's way. OMG, did I confuse you? Alright, I'll give an explanation.

An elastic band is connected from my lower teeth to my upper teeth. It is placed in a weird way. It is in front of my teeth, DIAGONALLY!

Noo.....!!

Other people have elastics too, but theirs are positioned in the side so it isn't that obvious. But mine is way, way obvious!

But I need not worry. I still think my braces are cool. Even though others think braces are for geeks. I have an answer, folks! No. They are not for nerdy geeks.

Canterbury Tales

I just bought a copy of Geoffrey Chaucer's Canterbury Tales. I need it for my English project. The book is written a long time ago. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it was written in the age of chivalry.. It was the age when knights were important. It was the time when knights would lay their life to save a damsel in distress. Haha.. I wish that it is still the age of chivalry until today. Hehe. Enough about that. The book has a modern English translation after each page so that it would be easy to understand. Here's my favorite line in the prologue. It is in Old English.

Whan that Aprille with his shoures sote
The droghte of Marche hath perced to the rote
And bathed every veyne in swich licour
Of which vertu engendered is the flour.

It is pronounced this way.. ^_^

English 101

It's official.

English. Is. Not. For. Me.

Gosh.. I don't really see how school works if you have a monster for a teacher. I KNOW that school aims in letting children learn. But how can we learn if we are creeped out by our own teacher? But now, I'm starting to realize that her 'strictness' will benefit us in the future. We will aim for perfection. We will not be contented on mediocrity. We will crave for idealism.

But sometimes, I can't help wondering why she has to be soooo scary. I'm not really sure if it's only me, but everytime I am called to recite, I freeze. I tell you, this is not just a terror teacher fever. This is something worse. Much, much worse.

On the other hand, we checked our Chemistry quiz today. I scored a 49 over sixty. It's not really that bad. I had a hard time with my scientific calculator. It didn't function properly again. Well, not exactly. It's really my fault, I'm the one who didn't read the manual. Haha. When I divide the numbers, the results are always in fraction form. Yep, bummer. I hope it won't stay that way!

Alright. School. Wee. Puh-lease. Who loves school? No one that I know does.

Anyway, since I was on hiatus.. I'll give a short summary of my first two weeks in that freaky place.

First week:

Yep. First week. It ain't Cloud 9. That first day funk is like so not true! Gimme a break!

First day. Think that the first day of school is cool? Not in ours. The first day is the most dreaded day. Tons of assignments should be expected. Poor first years. I thought that they were weaklings when it comes to assignments. Hey, no offense!
But lucky me, I survived the first day!

Second week:

English is killing me! Our teacher is so damn good but she is so scary! But I am really flattered when she says something good to me. She has high expectations. I mean, really. Se expects me to get the highest score in our pilot class. She calls me when no one is raising their hands. There was this one incident when everyone she called gave wrong answers. I can tell that she was really pissed off. Then she said, "Sino ba ang ano dito? Bettina!"

Haha. The "ano" thing means good. Hehe. Beacuse no one couldn't answer her totally hard question, she called me to do it! Good thing I knew the answer. Lol.

And yeah... GEOMETRY.

That subject has a reputation of being the hardest subject on campus. The teacher's great. She's one of the best teachers in school. But why am I having a hard time? Do I really suck big time in geometry? Oh well, I should think positive. It'll help. Right guys? And yep, we did a board work in Chem. Haha. Good thing it wasn't really that hard. I hope it stays that way.

See that? I ain't finished yet! That's just a start! But my fingers are already tired. I'll post if I have time.

Read the title? Ugh. Three timers. Such freaks. Much worse that two timers. You know, girls aren't toys. You are not licensed to play with their feelings. You think that you are that powerful, eh? Go find someone with the same level as you are. Play with each other's feelings. What kind of relationship will that be? Guys, for your information, girls are sensitive creatures. If they learn that they were tricked by an unworthy man, they will be so depressed that they will even think that the world has turned its back on them. Gals need love and attention. They do not deserve that kind of depression brought by you creeps. You think you are good-looking enough to play with a girl's feelings? Here's what happened..

I was fixing mah things that I would bring home. Then, I saw the Southwest Asia project we made during the first quarter. I decided to give it back to Ms. delos santos since i have finished reporting Kuwait already, there was no need for the pictures i put in the album. So, i went down the stairs with Joy, Micah and Czarina. I told them to go ahead because I will return that stupid album. When I stopped in front of Ms. dels Santos' room, i saw the first year boys in front of the door. I am too shy to put the album back so I asked the most angelic-looking boy in the group to put it on Ms. delos Santos' desk inside.

Then he said, "Bakit mo'ko inuutusan? Kaw kaya maglagay 'don!"

I was taken aback by what he said. Does he know that I' m a sophie so therefore I'm much powerful than him?! (wakekekek.. may pa-so therfore so therefore pa coh ah! LOLX. )

So i went inside Ms. delos Santos' room and placed the album on top of her desk. When I was about to leave, hinarang nila yung pinto!!

Oh noooo....

I tried to get out but that damn boy is blocking the way. There were shouts from the students inside the room.

"Nice Reinross!"

Yan yung sabi nila.. Oh my, kawawa naman ako. Curse you Reinross!!!!

Tapos sabi niya, "Ano muna pangalan mo?"

Of course, I didn't reply. "Suntukin ko kaya mukha mo?", I thought.
Then Joana grabbed Reinross by his sleeves and said, "Bettina pangalan niyan."
Thankee Joana! Niligtas mo coh! Hahee! Tapos ayon, pinalabas na coh.

February 25 did me some good.

It`s been nineteen years since the first People Power Revolution. After being an inspiration for Myanmar to revolt against the reigning military junta, i realized that the Filipinos need to knock the stuffing out of themselves. We Filipinos are great. I mean, really. It is so amazing to learn that every foreigner looked up on the Filipinos as a brave people during that revolution. Amazing. It is such a bummer that i was born in 1990. I didn`t feel what every Filipino felt after winning. Ooh.. the triumph! The victory!

At last.

Oh well.

So not the drama!

Haha! I had the most wonderful vacation in Tagaytay last feb 25, 26 and 27! We went to Canyon Woods. We had a lot of activities. We went boating, fishing, badminton, ten-pin bowling, mini-golf, etc. ang saya nga eh. We had our share of laughter den. Hindi naman nawawala yun eh. Lolx. Yung pagkain namin sa clubhouse, ung moments sa bahay.. at iba pa.. haha.

i met a new chatmattie... lol. uh.. not actually new, kasi i know her naman nah. miss ko na nga sha eh! buti na lang ininvite ako sa conference ni abby.. hehe. i met hanna na.. lol. nung grade 6 ko pa sha inde nakikita eh! hehe! anyways.. ok naman tong day na to.. pagod nga lang c yours truly.. hehe. buh-byee peeps! mwaahx!

Our field trip...

just want to talk about our field trip.. haha. Anyways, me and my CoF [ CoF= Circle of friends] had the greatest time in Enchanted Kingdom! It was really great, I tell you! Though our group in the field trip was not entirely part of our CoF, we were accompanied by some classmates. Me, Joyjoy, Mark, Kervin, Angeline and Czarina are the original members of the CoF. We planned our field trip to be CoF .. haha! But it turned out to be great. We rode on loads of rides.. We took our time in the long queues...Even though the queues took most of our time, which is only 5 hours, we managed to ride Rio Grande.. haha! It was fun. I was wet. The circle thingy that we were riding on really slowed up when we came under the waterfalls, so that I can be really wet! Haha!We rode in the Anchors Away! Haha! I thought I left my heart on the ride! It was EXTREME! I covered my eyes during the ride..! Haha! There were loud screams! Really, REALLY loud screams.The 4D theater was also a blast. The effects were great! That Bane Manor was really creepy. I thought it was real, for only a split second though! Haha! That ride was unforgettable.The Wheel of Fate is cool too.. Me, Avielle and Micah shared one gondola. It was cool at the top and you can see the Space Shuttle. It was dead freezing at the top! But it was great, and we met fourth-year students from a different school too. *+~> Those were just some of the fantastic rides in Enchanted Kingdom. Though there were a lot of students that day, that did not stop us from enjoying that park! <~+* Though those rides were c0ol, i still had a bad mood. I could never be complete in a day without a bad mood. Anyways, my bad mood involves a kid in enchanted kingdom. I don't know him, pero kung makatinigin eh... hehe. Siguro napapa-ranoid lang ako, pero parang hindi eh.. Hinde ko na lng pinansin! *rolls eyes*
